The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. on May 21, 2011. Check in begins at 8:00
a.m. at the Copperas Cove High School parking lot on Ave. D. Floats that are
being judged must be ready at 8:45am. Entry deadline is May 17, 2011.
The parade staging area will be on the back parking lot of CCHS, this is where
the parade will begin, proceeding East on Avenue D and will turn into Cove
Terrace Shopping Center by Sherwin Williams. This is the parade dispersal
point. Please review the map included with the Parade Application.
If children are riding in the parade this is where they will need to be picked
up. If anyone needs to be transported back to the parade staging area, riding in
the back of trucks, on trailers or floats will not be allowed. All
vehicles participating in the parade must have current liability insurance.
